Attention Residents: NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Burn Ban in Effect![]()
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has issued a burn ban for all open burning within our region. This ban will remain in effect until November 30th, 2024.![]()
During this period, no open burning is permitted, including the burning of leaves, brush, or any debris. This precaution helps prevent potential wildfires, especially as dry and windy conditions make our environment more vulnerable to fires.![]()
