local law no. 4-2024 TO AMEND THE TOWN OF MENDON CODE
CHAPTER 230 – TAXATION
Please take notice, that a Local Law has been introduced to the Mendon Town Board on September 9, 2024, designated as Local Law No. 4-2024- to Amend the Town of Mendon code, Chapter 230 Taxation.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the purpose of said local law is to amend Town Code Chapter 230, Taxation, in relation to Article XII, Exemption for Volunteer Firefighters and Ambulance Personnel.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that said Local Law is on file in the Mendon Town Clerk’s Office at Mendon Town Hall at 16 W Main St., Honeoye Falls, NY, as well as the Town website, where it is available for public inspection.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that a Public Hearing upon said Local Law has been scheduled for the 15th day of October, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., to be held by the Mendon Town Board at the Mendon Town Hall, 16 W Main St., Honeoye Falls, NY 14435. An opportunity to be heard in regards thereto will then and there be given. Written comments may also be directed to the Mendon Town Clerk at Mendon Town Hall on or before 4:30 PM on the day of the hearing.

local law no. 5-2024 TO AMEND THE TOWN OF MENDON ZONING LEGISLATION TO ADDRESS ZONING FOR SMOKE SHOPS
Please take notice, that a Local Law has been introduced to the Mendon Town Board on September 9, 2024 designated as Local Law No. 5-2024- to Amend the Town of Mendon Zoning Legislation to Address Zoning for Smoke Shops.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the purpose of said local law includes to define and limit the areas in Town where Smoke Shops are permitted, and to advance the goals of New York State’s tobacco use prevention and control program.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that said Local Law is on file in the Mendon Town Clerk’s Office at Mendon Town Hall at 16 W Main St., Honeoye Falls, NY, as well as the Town website, where it is available for public inspection.
