Summer Recreation

The Mendon-Honeoye Falls Recreation Commission holds a Summer Recreation Program every year. The 2010 Program will be held at the Manor Elementary School on East Street, in the Village of Honeoye Falls.

Dates of Program

The 2010 Program will begin on Tuesday, June 29th and end with a half-day on Friday, August 6th. The Program will be closed on Monday, July 5th.

Age Groups

The Program is divided into four groups according to grade level. The youngest group consists of children who have just completed kindergarten through the 2nd grade. The older groups are for grades 3-4, grades 5-6 and grades 7-8. 

Can children that do not live in the Town of Mendon attend?

Yes. Non-Town of Mendon residents may attend the program, however there is an additional Out-of-Town Fee. See below.

Fees - 2010

General Registration Fees

Town of Mendon Residents:

Grades K-2 (completed) Program: $220 per child (includes two t-shirts)

Grades 3-8 (completed) Program: $200 per child (includes one t-shirt)

Non-Town of Mendon Residents:

Grades K-2 (completed) Program: $245 per child (includes two t-shirts)

Grades 3-8 (completed) Program: $225 per child (includes one t-shirt)

Late Registration Fee

After Thursday, June 24th there will be a $10.00 per family fee added to the General Registration Fees.

Short-Term Fees

There are Short-Term registration rates for out-of-town guests or children who may wish to attend just one or two events.

Town of Mendon Residents:

Grades K-2 (completed) Program: $22 per day 

Grades 3-8 (completed) Program: $20 per day

Non-Town of Mendon Residents:

Grades K-2 (completed) Program: $24.50 per day

Grades 3-8 (completed) Program: $22.50 per day

Registration

Registration begins Tuesday, June 1st and runs through Thursday, June 24th and will take place at the Mendon Town Hall from 8:00AM-4:00PM, Monday-Thursday and 8:00AM-1:00PM on Friday. There will also be two evening sessions from 6:00PM-7:00PM on Tuesday, June 22nd at the Mendon Town Hall and on Thursday, June 24th at the Mendon Meadows Marketplace on Assembly Drive.

HF-L Summer "Edutainment" Academy

The Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District usually holds a number of week-long enrichment camps, scheduled to coincide with Summer Rec. Many of the camps have attendance minimums, and all require additional fees. Information is included with the Program Brochure.
